Grand Designs Australia Magazine now on 239,000 Readership
Ahead of Handyman (231,000), Inside Out (180,000), Real Living (168,000) and Belle (167,000).
There are good things happening for Grand Designs Australia magazine within the Home Group at Universal.
The group began January 2017 with Grand Designs Australia on 180,000 readers, and witnessed a steady increase in readership all year.
In April 2017 this figure had climbed to 198,000
By July 2017 it was on 222,000
And by October 2017, figures show the publication on 239,000
The current readership figure is a 133% increase on the January 2017 figure
“We are pleased to see this growth in the EMMA data,” says Publisher Janice Williams. “Grand Designs Australia magazine targets an audience of people with projects, so we would not normally expect it to reach the wider readership of the more lifestyle-oriented publications – but it has delivered this result without publishing recipes, travel, or any of the broader content often used to increase reader numbers.
“In 2018 the publication will continue to retain its focus on homes and home projects,” says Ms Williams. “We aim to produce publications that offer content that is useful to someone researching for an impending upmarket home project. This audience wants floorplans, inclusions, and a level of design commentary that you don’t get in other publications.”
