Magazine readership up year on year at over 15.2 million

A total of 15,227,000 Australians aged 14+ (73.7%) read magazines in print or online either via the web or an app. That is up 1.2 per cent, or 187,000, from a year ago according to the results released from the Roy Morgan Australian Readership report for the 12 months to June 2019.

There are two Readership Surveys in Australia – this Roy Morgan Readership Survey and the IPSOS Enhanced Media Metrics Australia Survey.

Universal Media Co has two publications in the Roy Morgan Readership Survey.

Universal Media Co’s Home Design is on 111,000 readers, which places it ahead of competitors Inside Out on 103,000 and Real Living on 99,000 readers.

WellBeing Magazine is on 147,000 readers which places it ahead of competitors, Australian Traveller on 105,000 and Prevention on 77,000.
