Thanks for requesting a license to use one of our Brand Badges! Adding a Brand Badge to your website is a great way to show visitors that you advertise on or work with some of Australia’s top media brands. They lend credibility and prestige to your business.
By downloading a Brand Badge from UMCo you agree to the specific term of our Brand Badge License Agreement as set out below and the general UMCo Terms and Conditions of Use.

1. Our content and materials: All Brand Badges contain trademarks, logos, mastheads and other material valuable to and owned by UMCo. All Brand Badges also link to websites, social media accounts and other digital businesses valuable to and owned by UMCo.

a. Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights in or related to a Brand Badge and the digital platforms they link to (including but not limited to our code, software, brands, marks, logos, buttons, and badges) is owned by UMCo.

b. Ownership: You acknowledge and agree that any and all UMCo brands, marks, and digital platforms or accounts contained in and associated with a Brand Badge will remain the property of UMCo. The content, information and services made available by the UMCo digital platforms linked to a Brand Badge are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other laws, and you acknowledge that these rights are valid and enforceable. You acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by using or licensing a UMCo Brand Badge.

2. Our license to you to use a UMCO Brand Badge: You have permission to use the UMCo brand badges made available on our websites as an Advertiser Resource, subject to this License Agreement and the full UMCo Terms and Conditions of Use (including the disclaimers and limitations of liability, indemnification and general terms).
As part of this License you agree as follows:

a. This license grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use our Brand Badges and link to our digital platforms;

b. The license is valid for a term of 24 months from date of download;

c. You have a genuine association with and reason to use the relevant Brand Badge. A genuine association may be that you do business with the brand associated with the Brand Badge, you write for or contribute to the business associated with the Brand Badge, or you or your business has in some other way been featured in or worked with the brand associated with the Brand Badge.

d. Your use of a Brand Badge must link to the relevant UMCo website or digital platform associated with the badge;

e. You will not modify, change, compromise or manipulate a Brand Badge, the logos associated with it, or the links and associated code in any manner;

f. You will not use a Brand Badge in any manner which implies or suggests that we endorse, sponsor, or recommend the website on which such badge is used;

g. You will only use the Brand Badge in association with a legal product or business;

h. Except as expressly provided in these terms, in and by using a UMCo Brand Badge you agree not to use, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit UMCo content, materials, and digital platforms without our express written permission and for any commercial purpose other use other than promotional purposes.

i. UMCo may terminate this license at any time for any reason. Except for the rights and license granted in these terms, we reserve all other rights and grant no other rights or licenses, implied or otherwise.
