Renovation Spending
This article reports on research conducted by Suncorp Bank, which examined the amount Australians have invested in renovation projects during covid. It found home owners are spending $63,188 on average to spruce up their properties, with the highest amount being paid in Victoria. The money is going in to kitchens, bathrooms, home office, and furnishings where spending has increased by more than 200%.
